We sat down with our newest yonotonian to learn more about her background, motivations, and what excites her most about joining Yonoton.
1. What attracted you to Yonoton, and why did you choose to join the team?
What attracted me most to Yonoton was the opportunity to work in a fast-growing product company where technology directly impacts real customer experiences. I really liked how Yonoton is building innovative digital solutions for restaurants and hospitality businesses, and I felt excited about joining a team where I can contribute to a product that is continuously evolving while also learning from a talented and ambitious team.
2. What excites you the most about being a backend developer at Yonoton?
What excites me the most is working on systems that power real-world customer interactions at scale. I enjoy building backend solutions that are reliable, efficient, and scalable, especially when they involve integrations, payments, and solving complex technical challenges. I’m looking forward to understanding the product deeply and contributing to building high-quality systems that support Yonoton’s growth.
3. Can you tell us a little about your career journey and what led you to this role?
I have been working as a backend developer for around 7 years, primarily focusing on Java and building enterprise applications in the banking and payments domain. Over the years, I’ve worked extensively with backend systems, APIs, integrations, microservices, and large-scale production systems. I’ve always enjoyed solving technical problems and building systems that create real business value, and this opportunity at Yonoton felt like the perfect next step in my journey to work more closely with a growing product company.

4. What strengths and experiences do you bring to Yonoton?
I believe one of my biggest strengths is adaptability and problem-solving. Having worked in complex enterprise environments, I’ve gained strong experience in backend development, system integrations, APIs, payment systems, and writing scalable and maintainable code. I also enjoy learning new technologies quickly and collaborating with teams to solve challenging problems while keeping long-term quality and reliability in mind.
5. On a more personal note, what do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, staying active, travelling, spending time with friends, and exploring new places. I also enjoy experimenting with new food spots and cafés, and I like balancing work with activities that help me stay physically and mentally energized.
6. What’s your secret super power that not even your mom knows?
I’d say my secret super power is that I can stay calm and figure things out even when everything feels chaotic. I genuinely enjoy solving problems, and somehow I always find a way to make difficult situations feel manageable — whether it’s debugging code, handling challenges at work, or navigating life in general.
