Get to know our new Senior Frontend Developer, Turan Sadri!
Yonoton strengthens its core-team with the appointment of Turan Sadri as a new Senior Frontend Developer.
Turan makes a transition to Yonoton from Vincit, where he has worked as a consultant Senior Developer.
We at Yonoton family are thrilled to welcome Turan to our team. To help you get to know him better, we asked him a few questions.
What attracted you to Yonoton, and why did you choose to join the team?
I had a short stint at Yonoton last year as a consultant, helping with a few features. I genuinely enjoyed working with the team and felt I could contribute more. Later, when I saw the job opening, it felt unusually well aligned with my experience and interests. Applying was an easy decision.
What excites you the most about being the Senior Frontend Developer at Yonoton?
What excites me most is building products for a company where quality truly matters. I have very low tolerance for poor UI/UX, so it’s important for me to work in an environment where usability and attention to detail are valued and prioritized.
Can you tell us a little about your career journey and what led you to this role?
My career started in the early 2000s, and since then I’ve gained experience across several consulting companies. In recent years, I’ve focused more on e-commerce, which also gave me strong exposure to SaaS platforms.
This is the first time I’m working on developing a product long-term, which is a natural next step and something I’m looking forward to.
What strengths and experiences do you bring to Yonoton?
My background in consulting has taught me to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver reliably in different environments. On top of that, my experience with e-commerce and SaaS platforms helps me understand both business needs and user expectations, which I try to reflect in the solutions I build.
On a more personal note, what do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Whenever I’m not out walking our dog, I try to spend as much time in nature as possible. I enjoy photographing birds and other wildlife, as well as going on bike rides. Usually I try to combine both. I also appreciate good food, great beers, and just generally enjoying life.
Extra question: What’s your secret super power that not even your mom knows?
It turns out I can paint a fairly decent dog on first try just by watching a YouTube tutorial.
