Moilanen, 37, makes a transition to Yonoton from Vincit, a public software company.
Tell us little bit about your background?
I have worked in various professions including a forestry intern, construction worker, skydiving instructor and past five years as a software developer. In the software sector I have worked in two consultancy companies and as a freelancer.
Why Yonoton?
My previous co-worker got me lured in. Professionally, this was the perfect timing for me to make a move to Yonoton. I know the company have talented group of individuals that I’m looking forward to work with.
Yonoton is growing rapidly – expectations?
I expect to be able to produce high quality software systems with high quality methods in great company.
Experience from scaleups?
Yes. While working as a consultant at Vincit and also as a freelancer I’ve worked with companies such as Loupedeck , Virtual traveller and Tideal. Professionally I’m excited to get to know new technologies and to develop my skillset.
Yonoton’s future insights?
The world is digitalizing at a fast phase, and demand for smart solutions for universal problems like payments is growing. Yonoton provides these, so the future looks bright.
What do you like to do outside of work?
My passion is body flight and parachuting related sports: skydiving, BASE jumping and wind tunnel flying. I'm a flying software developer, or a software-developing flyer, depending on day of week.
