Teemu makes a transition to Yonoton from Solteq Plc where he has worked as a full-stack developer.
Tell us a little bit about your background?
I’ve been working in the IT industry for a little over 2 years now, in two different consultancy companies (Solteq and Kraftvaerk). My main focus during this period has been the Inriver PIM (Product Information Management) system, which in technical terms meant pretty much backend development only. There was a little bit of frontend here and there, but mainly PIM development. Technology-wise my background consists of .NET Framework, React, Typescript, Python. I’ve worked with different frameworks as well, but those are the main ones.
Why Yonoton?
Well, it all came down to the fact that the product(s) as well as the tech stack was interesting. I’ve also never worked at a product house before, so I’m really interested to see what that is like compared to consulting.
Experience from scaleups?
Nope.
Yonoton is growing rapidly – expectations?
Once more countries progress with the digital ordering and payment services, I’m certain Yonoton is will substantially grow their customer base.
Name one achievement that you are most proud of?
To be able to get to where I am now in life, and that is having a great career path ahead of me, my beautiful fiancé, and our two cats. Excited to see what the future holds.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Cooking fancy food, eating fancy food, being outside in nature, watching movies and TV series’, occasional light-weight gaming. Also, trying my hardest to go to the gym consistently.
