Finland’s largest theme park Moominworld have chosen Finnish technology provider Yonoton for its long term digital partner within mobile solutions.
Moominworld branded mobile solution will be built on Powered by Yonoton platform. The service will provide Moominworld’s customers a unique experience.
Moominworld is a theme park based on Moomin books by Tove Jansson. Theme park was originated in 1993 and is based in Naantali. Moominworld is one of the most visited attraction for families with children in Finland, which boasts over 200.000 annual visitors.
Yonoton’s revenue driven technology platform offers powerful and innovative tools for several theme parks in Nordics.
Yonoton’s digital platform offers efficient and innovative tools for the park environment for the benefit of Moominworld and its guests. By bringing in fast mobile payments, new ways of communication, marketing, mobile positioning and analytics to be able to improve overall customer experience.
“It is very important for us to constantly improve Moominworld’s guest experience, and technology is of course in the core of enhancing that. In our mind digitalisation is an on-going process and an efficient tool to create personalised experiences for our customers”, explains Tomi Lohikoski, the CEO of Moominworld.
“Through digital service we are also able to improve and simplify our own processes, cut costs and collect more accurate data to run operations based on data”, Lohikoski continues.
From Norway to Finland
Among other places, Yonoton’s digital platform is used in Norway’s largest theme park Dyreparken.
Moominworld’s application, including location services, will be based on Powered by Yonoton’s theme park platform. Service has been concepted and rolled out in cooperation with Dyreparken.

Moominworld’s visitors can experience the brand new consumer application in the upcoming summer season when the service is launched.
